Krishiem, Philadelphia, PA

A project involving restoring many different types of lighting fixtures for an old mansion in Philadelphia.  The two fixtures shown here were painted wooden wall sconces which were falling apart.  We repaired the many splitting and broken glue joints, re=painted in the original paint colors, which were determined by gently sanding down through the various layers of paint, and finally electrifying for candle sockets.  Although the arms were hollow, there were no wire entry holes and the wiring that existed was taped to the top of the arms.
