This project involved of several bronze exterior lanterns, circa 1928.  The lanterns were weathered and needed a general restoration involving re-finishing, replacement of broken glass, re-wiring, fabrication of missing parts and re-silvering of the original glass reflectors.

Re-silvering old glass can be tricky.  Cleanliness of the glass surface is critical.  Removal of the remnants of the original silvering was difficult due to the textures surface of the glass reflector.
